Using mono reverb on metal rhythm guitar

After several attempts to make standart double tracked rhythm guitars more wide and less "in your face", i have found useful an a mono reverb. I mean, using a send from one rhythm guitar (which is panned full to left) to mono-reverb (which is panned full to right). And dont forget to supress some high frequencies on that reverb to avoid unwanted hum. Sounds better, than using a send from this guitar to stereo reverb, and better, that using quadrotrack, which add chorus effect and more bottom than need. Here is the soundclips

its a good trick, try it also with a delay in the same way about 30-80ms, no feedback.
left guitar goes to delay panned right, right guitar goes to delay panned left. The delay returns should be about -15dB below original guitars.
