Using the same guitar di multiple times

A few things, first, does anyone else use my method of inserting a blip on the di? And also, this haas effect, I've done plenty of research and just can't grasp it

The studio my band just recorded at would do the "blip" method you're talking about for aligning phase on mics. They would assign the click track to output through the re-amp, and by looking at the delay they could adjust which mic had to be moved in/out.

In my head it would work the same thing with how much to delay the DI before sending it out to get the 2 amps in phase with each other.

Nope.
It aint as simple as that, which is why you gotta move the mics.

I generated a short sine wave with a test tone generator and bounced it. Now I put this in front of the DI before reamping... It´s easy to see then.
