Sorry to start a somewhat duplicate thread, but I enjoyed the hell out of Wednesday nights set and didnt want to feel like I was voting a band off the island!
Loved, loved, loved the VP acoustic set. Gethsemane (I Only Want To Say) was *the* moment of the fest for me. Great song + brilliant vocals = pure magic!
Also loved hearing the cover of Boat on the River. This was especially fitting for me, as if I hadnt fallen in love with Styx in the late 70s/early 80s, I probably would *not* have found myself at my sixth ProgPower 30 years later. (The local radio station that played the most Styx also happened to play Scorpions, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Dio, etc. and you know the rest of the story )
Thanks to the bands, Glenn, Jen, Shane, the crew, and all those who keep making magical moments happen!
