This is my second time setting out to try and pitch correct a bass, and I'm wondering if there is a better way to go about doing this than the way I'm doing. I've been selecting the whole track, and have been setting both pitch quantize and straighten pitch to 100%. Then I go through and manually slice notes that get lumped together by segmenting, and move notes that seem to be corrected to the wrong pitch accordingly up and down. On the lowest notes a lot of hits seems to be getting lumped together, and occasionally disappear when I split them. Also, some notes seem to go lower than what the program will allow.
I'm thinking there has to be a better way than how I'm approaching this. I would really appreciate any advice I can be given.
