And just so you assclowns know I'm not only into metalcore, it just happens to be one of my favourite genres. I DO like Vehemence I just don't like the lyrics on the first albums! I listen to bands like Dream Theater, Radiohead, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Between the Buried and Me, Psycroptic, Shadows Fall, Into Eternity, Ephel Duath, Red Snapper, In Flames (I like some of their older stuff off Whoracle, Jester Race, etc), Katatonia, Lacrimas Profundere, Isis, Lykathea Aflame, old Sepultura, Machine Head, Soilwork, Spastic Ink, All That Remains and Unearth!
I know some of the bands I listed are considered metalcore, but there are melodeath influences. I'm not entirely against melodeath so don't get me wrong. I find Vehemence to be VERY talented, I was just sickened when I read the lyrics for the first time. Some of my friends listen to a lot of crappy emo and their MSN names are lyrics that are straight from emo bands they like, which ARE necro like what I read in Vehemence.
