Vehemence Returns Home From Tour

:erk: it sounds like you guys have had to endure some tough situations. that's life on the road though, I guess, although I wouldn't know from personal experience. however, these types of bus breadown stories seem to be all too common and it makes me appreciate you guys, the touring bands and musicians, that much more.

thanks for keeping it rolling into the Midwest! we appreciate the effort and wish you luck in the future. :)

yeah, we were stuck in Backwoods Oklahoma for a few days. Stayed at the Townsman Motel and ate Okie Burger for breakfast and dinner the whole time. It fuckin sucked, and our van is still there. We had to spend 800 somethin dollars on a U-Haul cargo truck. We needed something with a hitch, to haul all our epuipment. So, 3 of us sat up front in the truck, and 3 in the back cargo area . So thats how we at least got back home. Nate is getting better. We all were sick pretty much. We also got pulled over twice on this tour! The first time we got pulled over was in Illinois. I guess we had some our our rear lights out on our trailer. The cop saw John fidgeting in the back, so that apparently gave them a reason to search our vehicle. Of course, there is weed in the van. They bring in their dog to search in our van, and amazingly the dog didn't find it! It was right in front of the dogs face too. The next time we got pulled over was in Ohio, about 45 miles from Cleveland. He just asked us a bunch on questions and shined his flashlight all up inside our shit. Luckily we had Febreeze for that one too. This tour was an adventure for sure! We had some really great shows, and toured with some really great bands. Now we just have to find a NEW van. No more used fix up job vans..

Ahhh...the trials and tribulations of being a touring band. But I bet even with all the troubles you wouldn't have had it any other way.

You all take care of yourselves, get well and come back with a vengeance. Nathan - get well soon!! The metal community should not be deprived of your vocal stylings for any length of time!
