E for me, it sounds like the recto. C is second for me, sounds good but a little honky in the mids, sounds like the Traditional.

Voted for C. Thought it had the nicest balance of clarity and crunch.

Think D would mix well w/ another tone as well.

A is PPC Cab
B is Recto Cab
C is Traditional Cab
D is Fatbottom Cab
E is Trip Rec with Recto Cab

you got the closest to guessing all the cabs except you got two wrong

A is Recto Cab
B is PPC Cab
C is Traditional Cab
D is Fatbottom Cab
E is Trip Rec with Recto Cab

We also opened up the PPC AND mesa cabs and found that the mesa were loaded with english V30'S and the Orange with Chinese i can hear similartity between the english ones vs the chinese there definatly smoother and middier in a good way the orange has some extra unwanted fizziness imo and its got a hollowness to it

i personally think that the settings on the VHT/fryette Didn't suit the recto cab and i think it could perform much better also there was a bias for the orange since the settings were set on that cab but it seems only 1 person choose it

recto wins haha:worship:

I'm really surprised on A and B. I thought B and C sounded more similar than A and C, at least in terms of characters that I would associate with cabinet design. Regardless, I didn't do too bad, eh

Thanks for the test.

I don't like Fatbottom cabinets unless they're paired with a VHT head (which sounds like pure sex to me).

We'll the VHT cab was with VHT head i think it had some phase issues in the wireing so bleed from another speaker may have been cause the phasey/hollow tone could also be the settings didnt suit the amp .

the orange cab and traditional are similar size and shape the diffrence comes down to the chinese V30's vs Made in UK i hear a definite diffrence and quality to them that the mesa's share and i believe it's due to the speaker build and not the cabinet design.

also the interior of the orange it becomes obvious the cab is a lower quality build
