Amon Amarth is melodeath.

Half of those are Folk Metal. Korpiklaani sing about beer, Vintersorg sing about cosmic psychadelia.

All things considered, Amon Amarth are as viking as they come.

Who sang about Norse mythology. Viking can generally cover anything Scandinavian from the viking age.

i dont see how being from norway makes them a viking metal band? our views of what is viking metal must be different.
