Vintage 30 test

I have replaced in my Marshall 1960 Lead G12-T75 stock speakers with V30
two clips I've made:

arch enemy clip

exodus

what do you think of the sound, maybe too much gain, well in the beginning was a pain in the ass to get a good sound out of V30, G12t-75s sound like shit live, but recorded are not fizzy like V30.
5150 master was on 1 (gain on 6 :D) so it's not the best tone ever, but I think the result is not that bad, maybe as I said before: too much gain

I've uploaded louder files, the previous one were too much quite!!
come on men share your comments.
Tomorrow, I think I'll remove some of the fizzyness!!!!

To be honest, I prefered the previous quieter version. It seems much tighter and much closer to arch enemy tone.

Maybe without the fizzyness, it gets better.

Anyway, your sample makes me wish I already had my cabinet with V30. They rock! :headbang:

Double track this and re up them for a better evaluation. I think you may benefit from a slightly better mic placement... also, a noise gate would not hurt. I love either ISP decimator or MXR smart gate.
