Vinyl: How do you approach it?

i need to get a turntable too

i own a few records but keep them with the rest of my (actual, physical) CDs at my parents house and listen on my brother's turntable when i'm there...which is a bummer when you have kickass stuff like voivod and population reduction on vinyl only and can't listen to it

why do they call it vinyl if it doesn't taste like vinyl?
