violin effect

COB has a video of them playing vivaldis summer and roope seems to have a violin effect on his guitar how do i get this effect?

They dont. It's a backing track that you hear, and its perfectly blended with their guitars.

Alexi is using a Line 6 Flextone, and roope a Marshall JCM2000 with a Boss SD-1

Then Alexi is using a tubescreamer since i can remember there's something green on his amps.

Can't remember seeing anything (green) on the Line 6, and his guitar goes straight into the amplifier.

Thank god arvoitus posted, Roope does NOT have a violin effect. You can hear him panned hard right if you wear headphones.

I've checked PTTR again and their is no green pedal or sth. As arvoitus said... Alexi plays over a Line6 Flextone II and Roope over a Marshall and a yellow Boss

Ok....my mistake! Just thought i remembered something like that.

Alexi has the Boss SD-1 on the Guitar Heroes session though and if im not mistaken ive heard people say it's visible on Tuska 2003 also
