I'm guessing by VIP you mean backstage, because most metal bands don't play at the Discoteque. Photo passes you can talk to the owener of the venue or the promters, get thier contacts months in advance for that. If you really want to just meet the band, just wait by their bus. Most often they will stop for at least a picture or somthing, unless there is a mob.

If they don't stop to talk to you or anything, there is probably a reason. We had Dave Mustaine call security on us before, fun night .

The security chooses who gets to see the band, so it matters. Slutty/Hot girls get in because people in bands, their roadies, and the security themselves, like to fuck slutty/hot girls. Its not really Rocket Science.

Backstage passes are generally given to professionals like journalists or photographs for instance. So if you want to get VIP pass, get a job in heavy metal "business" And the hot chick stuff never works, except if you want to fuck with the security guys ...

Or hang out with the band before the show and maybe they'll give you passes if you're cool. It sure worked for Heartless ,that lucky bastard. And one time someone told me to get to the afterparty, be cool with Henkka and he'll let you in cuz he usually organizes that shit.
