Virtual Bassist

hey i got myself virtual bassist but dos anyone know how to program bass things myself ? when i use it in nuendo piano roll, it just plays a own lick in that key. but i want to make my own bass riffs in piano roll.

can someone help me on this ?

Just make your bass parties upper than C3
And of course-click on "Single note style"

I assumed that Steinberg's Vitrual Bassist only offered pre-recorded licks...but I guess you *can* actually program your own stuff. I would've bought EW/QL's Hardcore Bassist though, it's a lot better for metal. My friend Mike in Florida bought this a while back and has been doign some of the sickest sounding bass for his tracks. He also bought DFHS to go along with it. The only real things on his clips are the guitars now, lol.
