Don't think I had one actually.

This album is pretty shit, having listened to it a lot now.
I played Icons of Evil, then played Stench of Redemption and it just made me realise how fucking incredible Stench is.
Whoever wrote the lyrics for Vital Remains clearly isn't a vocalist. The lyrics on the Deicide album actually fit the music, they flow with it. The lyrics Benton is constantly shouting on the VR album don't seem to bear any relation to the actual music. They're just tacked on. It's annoying. And they're too loud in the mix as well. And the solos are too short. And the drumming may be technically amazing, but it's got no groove. And the songs have the "St Anger" syndrome in that they are all two or three minutes too long thanks to being looped again and again in Pro-Tools or whatever.

Bollocks.
