Vocal scale help...

When I said vocal scales are different , I meant they are named differently in Auto-Tune, so I don't recognize them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it possible to manually program autotune on what notes to let pass and what to correct? Just turning on or off different notes? Then you wouldn't really need to know the names, do you? So I still don't see the problem, when this is the case.

It's true man: of all the people in bands, singers almost always know the least about music - you can just hear if something fits or not. Same goes with harmonies - get your main part down, see what fits.

You should use your ears and sing. That's all you need. If you can't sing in some pitches, then you need to work on that.
For developing your vocal technique I recommend to begin with vocal warm ups.
