I listened to all 5 albums straight through today (I also listened to Inearthed). That's right, just stared at the wall and listened. I mainly listened to the vocals, since I know all of the music by heart.

I noticed Alexi's voice changes a little bit as time goes on. Which voice is your favorite? I'd have to say that Inearthed had some awesome vocals but my favorite is definitly Follow the Reaper. That album is the king of vocals!

Actually his voice has changed A LOT in terms of talent and skill... and Hate Crew Deathroll is obviously the most difficult vocals he's done yet. I like it the most, too.

Yeah, definitely, it takes A LOT of talent to scream at the top of your lungs like that. Yup, he´s very skillful and teknikul the way he screams "Yeah!" and "Go!" in between verses and riffs too, and sounds like about a million other deff/blakk-vokulists. Seriously, I don´t know HOW he manages to do it!

Alright Sic sometimes you're funny but now you're just being fucking dumb. I know it isn't hard to sing like Alexi in the way that it's hard to sing like Bruce Dickinson... but it still takes years of practice. And the voice that Alexi uses on HCDR is extremely fuckin difficult to pull off; I'd like to see some samples of you belting out one of their newest tunes... high-pitched growls are one of the hardest things the human voice can do, surpassed by opera singing, I imagine, and not a whole lot else. So fuck you and all your beliefs.

And you know what? You -don't- know how he manages it, and if you tried you'd probably start coughing up blood and it'd sound terrible.

Not to ignore the issue at hand (but i totally agree with you Stun) how do you guys feel about the vocals in Something Wild(which i have yet to get but i have listened to it)??? I really love the vocals in Hatebreeder and FTR btw.

Sure it takes years of practice to sound like Alexi, that´s what childhood is all about, man. Fuck, I challenge Alexi and a whole bunch of other brootal mettul peeps to outscream a new-born. They´d get soooo whipped...and you know it.

Of course, I haven´t heard ANYTHING from "Hatecrew something something" (other than downloading "Lil´ Bloodred something Hoodie riding something" to confirm the theft of riffs). Trust me, though, as I am a superb master death metul screamer (probably the best in the whole wide world!), I would totally kick anyone´s ass. This is a fact, by the way, you cannot argue this.
