Wow, there's no Mercenary or Elvenking on that list..

I'd say .. in order: The Winter Wake, The Hours that Remain, Twist in the Myth had to be my top 3. There were some pretty cool releases, but none have stuck with me as much as these.

Quite a few good CDs on that list (Nercenary, Amorphis, Katatonia, Mastodon, Satyricon, Dragonforce, Tool, ZH), but I voted for DTB. Some of them, like the Satyricon, had me scratching my head, since it isn't a prog rock or metal CD.

As you can see from my top 15 list, my favorite disc of the year is not on there. But from those I chose Unexpect. Which for some reason I forgot to include in my top list.
