Vote on these two MKIII tones!

Ok, so I have two ReValver tones I'm going back and forth on. I have two clips that aren't in any particular order, but one of them is the full amp being used and the other is just the preamp from that amp being used. Both have the same everything else: HellRaiser C7 -> MKIII (bass box -> either full amp or preamp only of the same amp -> splitter (2x RIR modules using two different impulses) -> GR8. The EQ'ing and everything is identical, and because it's the same preamp from the full amp module I have the same tone settings on it as well, minus Res/Pres obviously. Both have the same post EQ'ing in Cubase, etc.

Honestly, I'm having a hard time hearing a difference between the two, though that's probably cuz a) it's kinda hard to judge because of that filtered guitar at the beginning of each, and b) becuase there's so much drum ridiculousness going on (and the clicky kick is still driving me bonkers) - I would pick 2 though, but christ is the difference subtle IMO.

the second one appears to have a touch more gain, but the actual sound is pretty much identical

yeah I agree, both sound very similar and equaly good imo...

I'm thinking I hear slightly less gain on the first one, so I voted that one. Both are good and VERY similar.

But yeah... definitely work on that kick's clickyness.
