Want to build a new PC rig - help plx ?

Hey..

I'd be really greatful if you guys could assist me in a building a new recording PC.

It's been a few years since i built a rig, and once again i've fallen out of the loop who makes the good stuff.

I've got a gfx card that runs on PCI x16, if that's still the standard then i'm keeping it.

Other than that, new CPU, new motherboard, new RAM and an SSD drive for the operating system.


I guess the CPU will be an i7 3770K, 8 threads, not THAT super expensive, but i'm lost with the rest of the components...

anyone want to chime in ?

What's your gpu? PCI is very old, the standard these days is PCI-e. Also you need to give us a budget.

Well, i'm always looking for the ultimate price to value ratio, so i find it kind'a hard to have a set budget... but, ok.. let's say 1000$ / 800 euro
