Yesterday picked up a couple new things....
Got the Zombie best of package....
What a killer dvd & disc! I played that last night after coming home. My 5 year old boy likes the "image" thing Zombie has goin' on. We watched the dvd together....
I also picked up the Pantera CD/DVD set. Excellent
track listing. I could have burned me all these track onto a CDR.... The DVD makes up for it, plus I love reading the liners & stuff on all these boxset & or collections.
I also picked up Super Joint Ritual's new one. Why?
I don't know. I have heard both good & bad about it.
I haven't checked it out yet. In fact, it's still sealed & sitting on my desk here at work. I'll let you know what I think. I think I'll bust it open & listen to this on my way back from work. I also picked up the Lamb of God disc. I have seen the video on Uranium & HBB several times & liked what I heard. That sits with the SJR disc on my desk. Maybe I'll take the long way home & bust that one open too.....

You got yourself some great music there. I don't have the Pornographitti, but I have owned it in the past.
You really dig Anthems? I love that record as well.
What did you think of the DVD/A?

The DVD Audio really drives me crazy. I don't see the point of having audio only, I can't play it in my car, I can't play it on the computer, I can't play it on my stereo at home, only on my DVD; This means I will only ever hear it more than one time. Seems like a waste of time. At least if there was a video then it would be worth slappin it in the DVD player or Computer every once in awhile.

I to think it's a great album overall. I was impressed!

Man, you guys are making me jealous!!! I picked up the ZOMBIE disc. Love it. Whether you love or hate Rob Zombie the guy sure knows how to put a good package together. Great digipack, great booklet, great artwork, SHERI MOON hehehe, and a DVD of all the videos all in a package for $11.99!! I don't think I've gotten an album with such great packaging since, hmmmm let's see.....EVER?!?!? Metallica started the ball rolling for a bonus dvd package and I gotta say I hope all bands follow ship and don't charge double price! Great!!!! Now if only I can convince the wife (boss) to let me buy some of the other new releases you guys mentioned....oh well...there's always Christmas?!?!?

I actually burned my dvd on to a disc in 5.1. I have a stand alone burner.
I have since figured out how to burn stuff off DVD, VHS, Cassette, LP ect.

The first CD/DVD pacakge that I picked up was Disturbed's Believe. That was over one year ago. There concept behind the DVD or bonus disc is that people that have downloaded the music from the internet will buy it if there's something special that they couldn't rip. I guess it's a good theory, but how much good music is out there these days? Sherri Moon?
Yeah, she cool... That is until she opens her mouth. Have you seen 1,000 Corpses? It didn't scare the shit out of me...
Disappointing.
