Haha, congrats on both your gravedigging abilities *thumbs up* as well as your "courage" to listen to Waterclime, lefay Now you're ready to make the next step and pick up "Imaginative" as well which you are going to listen to in about a year or two, following your analogy (scnr). Funnily enough I've actually also been cranking Waterclime this past weekend and even though I'm not entirely happy with each and everything on neither album what impresses me the most is that it truly is a so called solo-project. I mean, Andreas does like almost everything on there, that's quite cool.

i think that what this forum lacks is mainly the sense of humor (not so easy to be funny in a language where you're trying as first to be understandable) and a relaxed atmosphere... some people (no names, but not references to what happened on the other topic) seems to be always on a war footing

This is definitely one of the more peaceful of the forums on UM.

So much elitism going on in other forums, along with the ignorance and stupidity. I find this place to have a nicely balanced, intelligent group of people.

And yeah, Waterclime pressings are not readily available here in Australia, I have no credit card, and refuse to download music illegally. So I've yet to hear either of the albums, unfortunately.

i'm not speaking of stupidity, i'm speaking of rigidity....sometimes is nice to make oneself a good laught or to take things not too seriously....

anyway in general i'm against dowloading too, but you know the need makes the man a thief...so...
if i'm looking for an album for such a long time and i cannot find it anyway....i feel a little bit legittimated to download it, because i will buy it as soon as i can, and because it's not my fault if i cannot find it in my country..... i consider it a little preview of the album.... i don't have credit card too so it's quite impossible to buy abroad, and also quite expensive....
i spent two years in searching alvefard, then a friend of mine gived it to me as a present (if not maybe i would be still searching), about 3 years for havayoth, two for fission and cronian...and i can go ahead for centuries
i was lucky instead with sagovindars and hedniskhjartad, which i know are quite rare.

Waterclime sounds like Mr. V is skipping through a magical stream, singing melodies, and thinking about very bright colors. Thats what I get out of the music, which is a very good thing...like you said, its very cool hear such care free music from a musician who works in aggressive metal bands.

And I'm surprised that the CDs are so available, they're even at The Omega and Amazon! I'll buy them this year, but I have other priorities now hehe (damn Cynic box o.o ).

now....i've listend to imaginative too...i have to say that i liked it a little bit less compared to the astral factor, maybe to catchy and easy for me??? i don't know....

BUT....i have a big problem with song number 7, A Journey To The Center Of The Soul, please help me, it's a serious problem! i cannot stop laughting everytime i listen to it, it's too weird, so little swedish, so fucking happy biteshertongue: :shewillnotgivethatadjectivetohishero: ) and caribbean, too many ethnic drums and xylophones
first time i listened to it i was in my car, driving home from work, with a strong stink of ethylic alchool attacched to my clothes so i gave to the fumes of alchool the fault of my hilarity...then i tried to listen to it again the day after, at home, and no....it wasn't the fumes' fault
