Hey everyone! Just a quick note to say we're back home safe and sound with a plethora of adventures to tell! I speak for us all when I say the jet-lag has kicked in MAJORLY so I'll leave it at that until I get a little more rest and a little more clarity before the tales begin. Everything from sushi for breakfast, lunch and dinner, foul play with the Yakuza, a submarine tour, a beautiful day off snorkeling the sunny beaches of Guam, staying in a whore house, and finding out more about why some of us are the way we are and more. What a trip takes on a whole new meaning! :zombie: Cheers and good night!

Hi everyone! It's great to be home finally! Still reeling from the time changes in my body ( I was up at 6 am for no good reason!!! :zombie: )

Here's the story we heard from the base people about the Yakuza- The Atsugi base has been closed to the locals since 9/11 and they were opening their gates to the Japanese people for the first time since for our show. Apparently there was quite a buzz going about and the Yakuza (who have a hand in most of the little bars that surround the base) were pissed and decided to take out a full page ad saying " Iron Maidens Show CANCELLED - come to these bars for drinks and entertainment" and listed all the bars they wanted people to come to. Fortunately, not everyone paid attention so we did have a pretty good turnout - but who knows what would've been the result without their interference! With all I''ve heard about them, I guess we got off lucky otherwise we'd be swimming with the koi!!

Wish we could've gotten a copy of the paper they put the ad in for the archives, though! It's kinda flattering - we didn't realize that five little metal chicks could be considered such a threat!

WHat about the hotels? Did they put you up on base or did you have to pay for it out of your own pocket? We are worried about that....

Well that's all we were able to glean - it's actually sort of a compliment - in a weird backwards kind of way....

But the Korean "love motel" we stayed at was actually even more odd!
