We's all in trouble again.

Its one thing for Bush to push forward a war and say that 'God' told him too, its another thing for a whole country to support him.

Bush is totally reprobated. As someone has already stated in this thread, the majority of wars since the beginning of writen history, have been Holy Wars. Bush states, "the Evil-Doers need to be punished"... who is he talking about? Iraqi's and Afgani's. People who have muslim beliefs.

To the point, something like this is outright disturbing. I'm with whoever decided a war on christians. Not for holy means, but to pull them down a fucking peg. Thats right, a whole fucking peg.

Fucking christians.

I don't see the problem really. The ancient oral traditions of a semi-nomadic, middle eastern tribe of thunder deity worshippers seems like a very solid foundation on which to build laws that deal with today's problems. And certainly there can be no doubt about the effaciacy of the teachings of a man who tried to reform the aforementioned religion 2000 years ago, with regards to proper social conduct in modern times.

It all seems perfectly sensible to me.

...how's the weather in the rest of the world? I am looking at maybe relocating...

Seriously. We shouldn't just "get used to it"; we should try and make a change for the better instead of sitting back and watching the impending apocalypse.

I wouldn't be so negative as to say there will be an "apocalypse." But you are totally right; People can change the way things are in America if they try hard enough. That's the beauty of it. :hotjump:

"Fuck you and your god above. I pity you all, I pity you all 'til you die."

I don't pity them. They have it easy. They can do whatever they want and say "God told me to do it".

If anyone deserves pity, it's us non-believers. We only have our own conscience to guide us. We also get the bullshit beliefs of others shoved down our throats

Why the religious nut-jobs can't just live their own lives the way they want without saying everybody else should do the same is beyond me. :yell:

Sorry, I made that look wrong. I meant get used to it as in, we're always in trouble. That's what happens in a country like ours, freedom scares people. I agree that we should do something about it, and soon. But there will always be something or someone that is threatening freedom, that just a side effect of living in a country that has a mixed population.
