What about the freaking updates???

Seriously, this is starting to piss me off. Why can't we get an update atleast once a month? This album is now four years due and still we hear nothing. What the heck is up with that?

In this age of technology and so on, can it really be THAT hard to give us some info now and then? Don't have to write a novel each time, but a glimpse of what's going on would be nice and surely much appreciated.

We are the fans, without us, what shall SX live off? Sure, they don't OWE us a thing, but still, WE pay for the albums, the merchandise, the concerts.. I think we have the rights to SOMETHING. But hey.. Let's say every SX-fan downloaded the album instead of buying it (no, I'm NOT saying you/we should, but let's play with the thought), what would happen then? I think they should be more gentle and care more about the fans, cause in the end.. Without fans, there will be no SX.

And I'm pretty sure this thread/post/topic will be deleted and i might even get banned, but really, it's worth it. A forum is a place to discuss and to ventilate your thoughts and feelings, why shouldn't this forum be? Just hope some of you will be able to see it before it disappears, cause I'm pretty sure some of you share my thoughts.

I felt like that at the start, but now I kinda gave up on it. Sure I want to hear that album as much as everyone else but I don't really feel excited anymore, kinda makes me sad inside. Kinda like that christmas that I got a PS2, my mom bought it 3 months before christmas while I was right there in the store and I knew I was getting it. I was excited at first, then got impatient, and then just lost all interest and on christmas day when I opened it, I felt more "FINALLY!" than "HURRAY!"... Ya know? 4 years is just way too long.

Nah, of course YOU wouldn't. Whining? "Every" god damn band on this god forsaken planet has a diary of some kind where they keep their fans up-to-date with what's going on. And you didn't seem to get my point either. And it's probably meaningless trying to explain it to you, thinking about how good you are, not whining and waiting... Try to SAY something instead of just trying to break down the ones who actually DO say something. Unneccesarily posting from your side, in my opinion.

IMHO, writing a short update does not take any time at all.. Appearently, a lot of fans are disappointed, so why not just acknowlede that?
A great example is machine head, writing about the mood of the songs (even those not finished), maybe the "type" of the music, lyrical ideas etc.
You know "there will be an update wen there are news to tell", I think that a simple "wrote a killer riff today" would be great!
I am certain that they have busy schedules, but other bands manage to do that.
