What are some tips for getting started with SSD?

I didn't know wether I had to post this in the Production Tips section or this one... but yeah, here it is.

I would like to know what are you guys' tips for getting started tweaking SSD? Some tips about the Kontakt player?

Just some general pointers if you guys could.

Just pan the drums in the kontact player and make a low-cut on the cymbals...

Maybe use the rooms a bit more to add some meat and body to the snare. It's a little hollow sounding at the moment. Other than that cool! You're on your way.
