what are ya listenin at?

Samael: Above
Immortal: All shall fall
Behemoth: Evangelion
Belphegor: Walpurgis rites
And also dance of december souls by Katatonia. :p
All so good albums. :kickass:

I thought ''Above'' was really more of ''Below'' for me ;)

Maybe I should listen to it again, but I dont think this generic Black metal sound of em is more interesting than the indus/goth sound they had with Solar soul for instance.

Even though its their original sound

Its still alot faster than their original sound, but I like it as well.

Listening to Acid Bath for the first time... Really awesome sludgy doom metal...

This always bothered me though...

You prolly know this band more than I do...I was used to the solar soul and previous album sound then suddenly BANG, I heard above and went like,...WTF is it the same band???

I will listen to ABOVE again though, many people sent praise about this album so it outta be something good :)

Sometimes its not the matter of the album ITSELF but what you were expecting it to be.

heh

Same LineUp, they made it as some kind of tribute or a connection with their earlier black metal sound or something, i dont know. They also have one or two rereleases of earlier albums, I could recommend those to you.

Yeah, sometimes you get somethign totally different from what you were expecting.

@Krow:

Are those wings made of waffles? :D

# 2005: Worship Him-Deluxe Edition (Rerelease)
# 1992: Blood Ritual

Blood Red Throne - Souls of Damnation

I can't believe I didn't get this album sooner, it's brilliant.

too soon to tell
and I liked Annihilation of the wicked better than Ityphallic myself

Iskander D'hul Karnon is an AWESOME tune thats for sure

The entire Ithphallic album comes down to Eat of the Dead for me. I love the song, but it cant pull the album up enough. The newest is better, and fairly awesome.
