I agree! A great show and the books are even better! Have you seen The Newsroom, also on HBO. This is another excellent series!
Another very well done series, The Boss, is about to begin it's new season.

Man Behind The Curtain
Didn't care for The Newsroom. Hated Aaron Sorkin's dialogue. Its not the way people talk in real life. Gave up after a few episodes. Couldn't get into The Boss but the blonde is mega-hot.
We religiously watch:
True Blood (even though its jumped the shark)
Breaking Bad (as amazing as ever)
Weeds (way past its prime - glad its the final season)
Episodes (hysterical. Matt LeBlanc should win an Emmy for playing himself)
Strike Back starts up again next Friday on Skinemax. Loved last season.
Homeland and Boardwalk Empire are coming in September.
I'm also addicted to loads of reality tv even though none of it bears any relation to reality.

I'm with you on True Blood, Breaking Bad (I can't see this series ending well for Walt), Strike Back, Homeland and Boardwalk Empire. Also looking forward to the next season of Walking Dead.
