I have been inspired by Opeth8's awesome thread to start another in the same vein. Who have you seen live that a) does not exist anymore (Pantera), b) was a former version of a band that still exists (Metallica w/Burton), or c) still exists but is just down right legendary (Aerosmith)?

Mine include:
Aerosmith
Chimaira
Bob Dylan (2x)
God Forbid
Guns n' Roses (2x)
Killswitch Engage (3x)
Kiss (all four original members in make-up)
Lamb of God (3x)
Metallica (2x)
Opeth
Pantera
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (2x)
Primus
Sepultura (w/Max Cavalera) (2x)
Shadows Fall (3x)
Soundgarden
Strapping Young Lad

Enjoy!

Eric Clapton...
Santana...
I saw the Allman Brothers when Warren Haynes was still there...I think he just left...
Damageplan... they played Primal Concrete Sledge... then Dime died like a month later...

Pantera

As for the other 2 categories:
Sepultura (without Max...ugh)
Deep Purple (so old, but still rocked)
Motorhead (Lemmy doesn't act 60)
Metallica (without Cliff)

Opeth
Iron Maiden
Black Sabbath
Arch Enemy (x2)
Children Of Bodom (x2)
Black Label Society
Shadows Fall
Killswitch Engage
In Flames
The Black Dahlia Murder
Mnemic

Pelican
Rob Zombie

I just wish I could have seen Death...

Santana (guitar legend)
...

a billion more?

Mostly nu metal/alt rock acts... too ashamed to name them all.
Oh, and heaps of Australian acts.

I'd have named mine but left them off since most do not consider bands like that to be legendary. Ah well, i've been to a stupidly large number of concerts, most all of which I loved. Except for Creed.

Are you kidding? Heaps of bands go to Australia. Every month I hear of bands I want to see that are touring there.

Bands I am referring to:
Winds
Agalloch
Maudlin of the Well/Kayo Dot
Arcturus
Porcupine Tree
Postman Syndrome
Wintersun

Dream Theater (2nd time in March '06)
Megadeth
Nevermore
Fear Factory
Symphony X
Sonata Arctica
Avenged Sevenfold
Dillenger Escape Plan
Deep Purple (w/ Steve Morse)
Santana (while visiting family friends in California)

I have quite the musical taste. :Spin:

I saw The Boss live just so I could see Max Weinburg drumming since i'm a huge Conan O'Brien fan. I've seen Opeth and Porcupine Tree as well. Both amazing concerts. Fadeaway by Porcupine Tree is fucking amazing live.
