Since joining this forum I've noticed a bunch of people have never seen Opeth live.
This made me think of what bands I wish I could have seen most.
There are 3 bands that come to mind for me.

#1 Pink Floyd --- Please do a World Tour ---

#2 Doors w/JM

#3 Alice in Chains w/Layne

Fuck me..

The Beatles
Pink Floyd
Genesis
The Doors
Alice In Chains
Death
Faith No More
At The Drive-In
Iron Maiden (I'm convinced they are officially NEVER coming to Australia again)
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Caravan
Led Zeppelin
.... there'd be more if I could be arsed thinking..

Led Zepellin
Pink Floyd
Earthtone9
Arcturus (Sham Mirrors Era)
Winds
Frederick Chopin playing his own Prelude In D Flat (Raindrop Prelude)

Lots more, will edit in later :)

*EDIT*, I'm assuming I only get to pick bands that no longer exist (or line-ups).

Pink Floyd
Death
Cynic

honorable mentions to In Flames circa-1995 or '96, King Crimson, Genesis, At the Gates, Emperor, Rage Against the Machine, and of course...the Beatles.

Sepultura with Max
Iron Maiden - especially at Donnington
Frank Zappa
Mayhem - with Dead, Euronymous and Varg Vikernes
Emperor
Dark Throne
Slayer
Death with the mighty Chuck
Pink Floyd - Original lineup
Led Zeppelin
AC/DC - with Bon Scott

and most importantly,

The Doors - with Jim Morrison

Bloodbath
Acid Bath
Emperor
Pantera
Nirvana
Pink Floyd
Camel

Possibly 'Paranoid' era Black Sabbath, too.

Edit - 'The Bleeding' era Cannibal Corpse would've been good too. With their original singer.

And forget bands, I'd just like to SEE Mike Patton, and poke him... and see what noises come out!

Emperor but im going to see them in NY
I would like to have seen Pantera unforunitley never did
Venom with Cronos/Mantas and Abbadon
AC/DC

1/ The Doors with Jim Morrison in a good artistic mood (= not too drunk)
2/ Opeth around 1999 or so, after still life, or one of those very early shows
3/ Bloodbath at Wacken 2005
4/ Metallica in 1984 or 1985
5/ Black Sabbath in 1972 or so
6/ Charlie Parker in some sleazy jazzclub in New York
7/ Black Metal shows in the early nineties
8/ Morbid Angel in the early nineties
9/ Rolling Stones in the sixties
10/ Emperor

edit: oh damn idd Jimi Hendrix! ... :) oh well, I probably forget a whole bunch more too, I'll stick with these ten.
