what cd-r brand

Taiyos are great, but not easy to find in the US. Honestly, I've yet to find a readily available CD-R in this country that's beaten KHypermedia by any margin that made the price difference worth it - 100 packs on sale for $14 every couple of weeks, burn up to 16x faster than rated, and better (consistent) overburn capacity than any other CDs I've tried - Taiyos included. That's just me, though.

I strongly recommend TEVION CD-R and DVD+R here in germany. Never had any burning or weird reading probs with them. And they are a bargain in all ALDI discount shops. As far as I know there are ALDI discount shops worldwide right now and if you have one right next door give this CD-Rs a shot.
