What do DT's lyrics mean to you?

What other death band has songs like Crimson Winds, Nether Novas, Hedon, The Gallery? I agree Ormir, and somehow I feel the same way, but then I try to imagine DT as an instrumental project and I feel that the strengh of the songs decrease something like 50% I mean, songs like Hedon, musically are great, but the music is SOOOOOOOO great thanks to the way lyrics are mixed with it. What would be Instanity's Crescendo without it's lyrics....what would be Shadow Duet with the lyric's (masterpiece), just a big bunch of wonderful instrumentals

Ah, but I didn't just say that... I said correlate. So I want the explanation of how those songs fit into just another death metal band.

IMHO from Projector and thereafter, the lyrics play a dominant role in the group's releases. While in Gallery and The Mind's I, they are more like 'another death metal band', though with good lyrics. Even in TMI there is a significant change in the themes that Stanne (?always the songwritter) choses. Anyway, since projector I love this band primarly for its lyrics and the way they're combined with the bands music, while before I just liked the band.
