Accept
Iron Maiden
DIO

I've heard a number of times that CAGE is good, so a friend of mine and I went to check out a show that they played in San Diego and we both hated them. I thought that they were everything that people say is bad about power metal, maybe it's because I wasn't familiar with their stuff, but they just left a bad taste in my mouth.

megadeth
dimmu borgir
Nevermore
Children of Bodom
Vader
Nightwish

I only have heard the Darker than Black CD, and I think that it has a lot of great riffing hooks to it!! I think some of the lyrics are a bit cheesy, such as March of the Cage, but overall, a really good CD!!! I have not seen them live, although I would really like to, just to see what they are all about!! I believe that they played at a show in Las Vegas, a few years back, that Jag Panzer also played at, But, I never caught their set!!!

That may be one of the reasons why I didn't care for them. Their stage show was just unbelievably cheesey and completely outdated. One of the guitarists looked silly with arms that were freakin' huge, the band was covered entirely in leather, and the band that played before them, Teabag (really lame name, but they can play), was more my thing.

I believe that it was. Their style was pretty cool, very heavy and pretty progressive. Can't really think of a particular band that they sound like, but that's not neccessarily a bad thing. Now that I've been reminded of them I going to have to check out some of their stuff.

Nevermore, Opeth, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Steve Vai, Strapping Young Lad, Meshuggah, Racer X, many more, too lazy, going to bed.
