What genre of metal is this?

I like heavy metal, but lately find myself listening to songs such as:

• King of Errors - Evergrey
• My Allied Ocean - Evergrey
• New Dynamic - Omnium Gatherum
• Foundation - Omnium Gatherum
• Chasing Glory - Feed Her to the Sharks
• The World is Yours - Feed Her to the Sharks
• At the End - Recode the Subliminal
• Now or Never - Invidia

Looking for similar songs/bands, but it's proving to be a challenge... I guess what I like about these songs is that they don't have so much screaming, and I like the guitar. Listen to this stuff while working out - find it motivating.

Those tunes are a good mix of styles - but I find "melodic" to be a theme for them all. so, melodic death, melodic prog, etc. - post in the band recommendations section or look through there for a good sampling of bands to check out.
