what happened to my favorite sub-genre

Hey guys I listened to all my favorite recordings (of this special sub-genre) yesterday
like Throwdown-haymaker / bury your dead - cover your tracks....
and what happened to this great bands????

I enjoyed their pur energy (also with shitty productions and way to hot masterings ) so much!!!!!

Why is this trend dead, and those bands emulate their influences instead of doing their thing????
