When I was in High School it was all Black Flag,Minor Threat,Flipper...ya know?Really cool stuff.All I hear about nowadays is crap like Green Day claiming they are punk.Aren't there any real punk bands left??

Ya, Greenday is shit... there aren't very many good punk bands anymore. Most bands of today say they are punk but are punk with other "lighter" musical elements such as: Emo, and Hardcore...

like Steerjockey, Zeke, MDC (yes they still tour!), Jello Biafra did an album
last year with The Melvins. The Mentors and The Murder Junkies still
tour minus their original singer for obvious reasons. My bud still books shows
here in indy and he does pretty well. www.punkrocknight.com to see some of
the bands he has brought in my town. Like The Exploited says "Punk's Not
Dead At All!"
