So I like how you have no idea what you are talking about.

You can't sterotype punk that way because not all punk is offensive and critic. Take a song that any teenage male would like the lyrics to, Sex and Violence by the Exploited, and see what is soo offensive or critic about it. It also astounds me that you don't like punk because you believe it has offensive or critic lyrics but most metal bands talk about the same thing. Death is one of the best metal bands in existence, and do they criticize anything? You better fucking believe they do!

Well one could say the same about metal.
I think early Emperor sounds just as shitty as the Misfits
I like them both, not for the quality of the production, but for the feel.
If you get past the studpid powerchords and simple drum beats, punk has a kickass feel to it. I agree that punk musically sucks, but I still enjoy the kickass bands the Misfits and Dead Kennydies. It should never be about musical skill or production, it should be about what makes you feel good.
And what I mean by good is deep down good. Metal may make some people uncomfortable but deepdown they like the uncomfortable feeling. Do you see what I am saying?
