What happened to the 'Heir apparent' sample?

It actually wasnt Opeth at all.. it was a band called axamenta... There are two other threads that discuss though.

you know, from the band axamentia, one of the members named Peter had to leave the band...lol. Coinscidence? Another opeth-like thing.

But yea when you hear the rest of the band, they really dont sound much like Opeth.

I lol'd when I read all the posts of people getting all excited after I read that it wasn't even opeth.

People were willing to accept everything.

Ow hellow :zombie:

I see we made quiet the confusion in a few threads. For the record, these are only 15 seconds of music from a 64 minute CD, and indeed it maybe sounds a bit like Opeth (probably the reason why it is was chosen by the "Roadrunner" guy) ... then again it was actually inspired on a song from Death :Saint:

Like some people posted before, it was very funny to read how people can change their minds so suddenly. Doesn't bother me, I had a good laugh

Our vocalist indeed had to quit singing and we have now found a suitable "clean" replacement, hopefully our next release may please the Elite visiting this board :)

Btw, just a funny anekdote, on the other thread some guy was saying this was mixed by an amateur ... you'll be suprised to know this amateur is in fact Fredrik Nordstrom from the Fredman studio (Opeth, In flames, At the Gates, Dimmu borgir, ...)

Not sure why I'm posting here actually ...

i may get bashed alittle for this but Fredrik Nordstrom or whatever has never EVER mixed an album that i found the levels and all to be great. If he is so great, I am extra-sure "Still Life" would not even have had to have been remastered.

even the mix on Arch Enemy's Rise Of The Tyrant, not so great. :(
