What heavy rock/metal magazines do you read?

Terrorizer is the fucking best heavy metal mag in the english language. I've bought some metal maniacs issues because they had some good articles but that mag is so low budge, it looks like they make it in their fucking garage. Some of the pages are color, some arent. It's a fucking mess. But terrrozer is fucking great. They have full color articles (sorry, when it comes to mags, color is plus for me), posters and a sample cd but due to copyright restrictions, we in the US don't get the CD but its still a great mag. Their is another killer mag which one of you guys mentioned above, Classic rock. Don't let the title fool you. Yes they do focus on a lot of classic rock but they cover every genre of rock, from black metal to lynyrd skynard.

we are a bit limited on choice here in the UK.
wtf!!!!
Both magazines I have described above are british mags. If you looking for a good american mag, don't because you brits got the good mags.
oh, and I almost forgot to mention. Since these mags are british they use "bloke." That makes any publication better.

I've had a look at the Terrorizer site, looks like a good mag.

Do they cater for, for-want-of-a-better-word, symphonic style heavy metal/rock (jesus, genre distinctions are blurring!) such as Virgin Black for example? I see a review of Opeth there as well, so I gather they might.

I'm after a mag that's not too narrow in it's focus, they're definitely pushing the 'extreme' angle in their marketing.

Metal Maniacs: Been a long time fan of this magazine. Still very good interviews and features.

BW&BK: When I finally found a local outlet of this I was stoked. I don't
buy every issue and it is expensive but it does come with a killer CD.

Unrestrained: Very, very thorough zine.

Throat Culture: Based out of Denver here, a very strong up and coming zine that has national distro now.

Revolver: For a more mainstream magazine I'm actually very impressed. They always cover good metal in addition to whatever else they feature.

I thumb through Kerrang and Terrorizer and my newstand, but haven't bought one yet.

And 10-4 on Wormgear! Review intensive and well written.

terrorizer cater for every fucking metal genre there is and not just metal. they cover hardcore, some punk, industrial etc...

best mag around and the sampler CD's are always awesome, the interviews and reviews are excellent everytime and there's shit loads of news etc...

Yeah I was waiting for this, since I visited their website and saw Terrorizer is British. Oh well ... my only excuse is though I'm living in the UK I haven't been here long, came from New Zealand recently.

We use the word bloke in NZ too :)
