Aftertaste is my current favorite. Most people forgot about Helmet wwhen this album came out but I love the fucking guitar tones on this album. There is some real heavy shit on it!

I've got Aftertaste on vinyl and I have played the shit out of it since it's release back in 1997 - I love that record.
Strap it on! That was the first Helmet album I bought, and I absolutely loved it. It is very repetitive, but I love industrial metal, so I didn't really mind that aspect of it. Lots of killer songs like Sinatra, Rude, Bad Mood, and Blacktop. By far Helmet's heaviest album.
Aftertaste was pretty poor IMO. Like 4 decent tracks, and the rest is just mindless, boring alternative music. If that was the best they could come up with, then it probably wasn't a bad thing that they broke up. Still interested in hearing some Page Hamilton solo stuff, though.
