yes you are, please name another band that has started in the early 80's and is still putting on the best live shows in metal and putting out solid records? Nobody can touch Iron Maiden. Ozzy is mediocre as a solo artist. Black Sabbath may have started metal but what happened to them??? Judas Priest went to shit after Painkiller. Metallica sold out with the black album.

The only other possible bands you can think about putting against maiden is Slayer and Pantera. But without maiden neither of those bands would be around.

BTW, every album they record sounds exactly that same ;/ but every fan of IM is so fucking excited when he can hear this stupid "ooo-ooo-ooo" in chorus. 100th time of course.

I voted for Maiden because they have more good songs overall than the others. The others have talent no doubt, but not quite as many good albums as Maiden did.

Why do I have to name another band? The question was which band do I prefer, not which band is still big.

And, Maiden wouldn't be around if it weren't for Judas Priest and Black Sabbath.

By the way, Iron Maiden went to shit during the Blaze Bailey era...
