To the first one: so the new album's good?
To the second: I love that song

:kickass:
And I have no idea...I don't have the new album. Looks like they have 3 now...I only have the first, but it's one of my favorite power metal albums. I really love the medieval atmosphere.

how on earth could "nothing else matters" blow anyone's mind?

pretty basic and boring power ballad, actually nothing even remotely mind blowing.

Most death metal has breakdowns. :p

I wouldn't say most death metal has blatant breakdowns (unless we're talking about brutal death) but a lot of death metal has "breaks" in the music from time to time (Incantation's Deliverance of Horrific Prophecies) comes to mind).

Ha, I actually don't own the first one, but I have about half the songs from it. I do own Defenders of the Crown though, and it's an incredible record. I'm really thinking about getting the new record, the songs have sounded pretty good so far.

Breakdowns mean different things in different styles of music; it was almost purely a semantic point. I know what Greys means, I'm just being an ass to him.

You're not gonna believe, but the song "Nostalgia" by Nocturnal Depression has blown my mind many many times. Such an amazing and depressive song.
