What mic w/ Firepod

What mics work well with the Firepod for micing up guitars. I was thinking about going with a Shure SM57, opinions?

Any mic works well with the Firepod (as with any other interface).
SM57 is very common (and good) for guitars.
A Sennheiser MD421 would be another option if you have the funds for example.

^that was the one that didn't come to my mind when I was searching it for the 3rd typical guitar mic... %)
Oh and btw condenser mics work too.

The i5 is like a sm57 with a pronounced low end

I gotta agree, that Audix i5 is Nice. I'd say get a SM57 and an Audix i5 and use em both.
