Where did you guys play before?

If it was The Balcony Bar, yeah it sucks. But the venue that the Balcony is a part, The Trocadero, always gets some pretty good reviews from bands that play there. Other than that, there's the TLA, and some bars.:p

Yeah we played at The Balcony Bar, in PA. That was when Ross Sewage burnt his hair bad, no thanks to the fan I brought along. blew the embers right back in. Yeah, we definantly need to play there again but at a bigger different venue.

Well, I'd say the TLA and the Troc are pretty much your options right now. the Balcony is part of the Troc, but is reserved for 21 and over shows. The Troc is where most underground metal tours go. In the past two years, I've seen In Flames, Nile, Arch Enemy, Lamb of God, Morbid angel and Deicide, Hate Eternal, Anthrax, etc. etc. etc. shit, even the Metal gods Tour was gonna be at the Troc before it was cancelled. The TLA is usually where the indie rockers and hardcore bands play. If you guys can land a pretty big tour, like with Slayer or somebody, you'll prolly get into the electric Factory, which is our big Concert Hall, that level right between small clubs and arena shows.

But anyway, If you guys play Philly on any kind of metal tour, it will probably be at the Troc.

N*Flamez isn't worth it, I've seen them a few times and it was pretty much all newer matieral. aawww cute dreadlocks too and those adorable pyjamas costumes..

It depends. the Troc's max occupancy is about 1200, including bar and floor and everything, but sometimes shit can be oversold, like Iced Earth and In Flames. When Opeth played on the Damnation tour, it was supposed to be seated, they sold out about 800-1000 or so seats, then the band and Troc management said "Fuck the seats" and released 200 more tickets. Basically if you play the Troc you could have anywhere between 100 and 1300 people there, depending on who you're touring with and how well it's advertised around here. Arch Enemy played there in Aug and the turn out was relatively small, because it really wasn't advertised well at all.
