What the hell is Deathspell Omega up to?

Sort of surprising how what was arguably the best metal band of its genre for nearly a 10 year span has quietly disappeared and been gone for a few years now. This is a band that was not shy about creating anticipation for future releases, so either they have nothing in the pipeline or they think a surprise release is a better idea.

I guess this happens to other groups too, but they were really at the top of the game after Paracletus.

I was just wondering this the other day. I hope they release something soon. I think even more than new music I want new lyrics. With the trilogy finished who knows what direction they'll go in?
