So as im getting more and more into metal, im finding that black metal is probably my favorite genre, i love the atmosphere it gives.

Deathspell Omega has been reccomended to me on several occasions, but i am at a loss for what album to get, so it would be a great help if you guys would reccomend some to me

Get Kénôse EP and Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice. These are their two best.

Best put if you want a more progressive sound.

Get the Inquisitors Of Satan album or theMoonblood/Deathspell Omega split if you want the old raw darkthrone-worship albums.

Start with Inquisitors of Satan then SMRC. The latter is better but you may need some conditioning first in order to better appreciate it.

Basically follow their discography, as there is a very sharp trend of development from one album to the next. If you cant get a hold of the pre-SMRC albums, listen to the big 3 Darkthrone albums
