What the hell? (line 6 models)

Well...I also thought that the metal pack amps were far better than the existing models. Do some tweeking you will get there...I recommend 5150 and big bottom.

How come you feel ripped off?... Isn't there a 30 day money back guarantee???

Well post that shit up then

I dl'ed black neon bobs patch but pretty much hated it (didn't work well with my guitar).

I dunno I still favor a miced amp, but yeah the more I fuck with them the more I hear the potential. The problem is I really don't need the other shit I ordered so maybe I will just retern that (collectors models and effects models).

The reason I feel it's a ripoff is everything I bought does not feel like it's worth $100, the metal pack for $50 yes but the rest no thanks...

Yeah, I just got the metal pack and ditched the rest, and I gotta say, I agree with you about feeling kinda ripped off...that being said, I'm pretty happy with my 5150 patch (even though it sounds nothing like a 5150, more like the ultimate Slayer tone, so I guess that'd be JCM800). It's going through the Greenbacks cab (4x12 Green 25's) with the on-axis 57, and the settings are as follows (numbers refer to "o'clocks":

Drv - 2
Bass - 2
Mid - 1
Treb - 5
Pres - 5
Vol - 1

To hear how it sounds in a mix, check out my band at www.myspace.com/halcyonnight. Just two takes of guitar, one left one right, with that patch (and oodles of comp., naturally)

Yeah it sucks that I like teh 5150 patch the best being that I own one :erk:.

I was also wondering if anyone knows where the source of these model names are because I want to rename them (into what they actually are) instead of having to refer to the pdf.

I'm recording a band on Wednesday if I don't end up using these they are going back, and I am going to go pick up another 57 or or somthing more usefull.
