whats the best way to slice drum samples

hi i just recently bought aptrigga2.

I found a few respected drum samples on this forum and i was wondering whats the best way to slice/crack the samples?

Some of them are .45 seconds long with multiple hits how can i extract each hit and load w aptrigga.

Do i have in individually cut each hit and save it?

By doing this what if i cut silence in the beginning of the "hit" and cause to have a delay attack, can this happen?

Yes. You need to cut out each hit and you need to watch how you cut them so that their attacks are all at the same time. It seems like most people, myself included, zoom in far enough to see the individual samples and cut right on the first sample of the drum hit.

Yep.

Yep. You have to cut right at the transient so there is no silence at the beginning, otherwise you can get hits that are out of phase with the ones you are replacing.
