What's the general consensus on this board on the Funeral Portrait?

I once had BWP played in shuffle mode, the song came right after The Leper Affinity. Made me think it should have been that way in the beginning. Such a great continuation of the song.

It's great. Not their absoulte best (but heck, how do you even define opeth's best song? Is that possible?) but for me, it's very high up in the list.

Great song. Grooves pretty much all the way through, which isn't very common in their songs. The main riff kicks ass and it has two of Opeth's tastiest riffs from 1:16 - 2:32.

I agree, it's a great slice of music!

Not my favourite, but definately in top 10
