What's wrong with people???

You know, I cannot understand what is wrong with people in the entertainment industry. This bullshit with Earthshaker tipped me over. I mean, has hucksters and con-artists really so permeated this industry that NO tour is safe? Jesus Christ, I feel for those bands that not only did not get paid, but had to pey to go home as well? Who's kidding who? Tarot and the rest got taken to the cleaners. Those bastards who ran this tour even forced one of the bands to catch a train immediately after without getting washed up after a show. That is crap.

You know, I know you guys talk about Jack Koshick as the evil incarnate. However, the actions of Metallysee makes Koshick look like a saint. And, it is not just in the concert realm. I follow Indoor Football, which is minor-league in nature, and the stories that are happening now are becoming mind-boggling. Like no uniforms on game day, splintered and broken dasher boards, players not getting paid for three weeks at a time, money meant to go to players end up as down payments on a yacht. I mean, it is sick what is happening.

Even such one-time worthwhile institutions like OzzFest has become the land of the con. "Get your free tix!" Then you read the fine print that says you have to give up information on everyone around you including your first born!

I just cannot fathom what has happened with people. Has integrity in doing business really flew out the window?

I guess in some ways, this can compare to MLB but to a lesser extent. Everyone always complains about the Yankees and the money they spend on players, but a lot of that is money earned that goes right back into the team as opposed to other teams where it just goes in the owner's pocket.
