I've been on a saturation plug-in binge lately and was just wondering what everyone else is using to warm up their mixes. Right now, I'm using wave arts tube saturater, spl twintube, and my favorite, the psp vintage warmer.

I usually use Mcdsp Ac1 for subtle glue, URS Saturation for a slightly more obvious effect and Massey Tapehead for the over the top stuff. I tend to treat tapehead more as a subtle distortion then saturation.

Nebula 3 (even though I'm using the free one) with the Analog Channel, Back to Genesis, SSL, and Color Tape programs (which were also free). Better than everything else I've tried hands down, although I remember Ferric TDS being really nice too

i wish my daw could use crane song stuff i went to a studio and he had the dark essance he a/b it and it was amazing the difference

Izotope Trash´s - Tape Saturation
Wave Arts Tubesaturator should be very nice too, but i´v read its pretty cpu intensive :(
